UMEM Pearls
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland has been developing educational pearls on their website since 2007.
These pearls are often summaries of medical society guidelines and literature reviews. High yield content presented in an easy to read format.
The Department of Emergency Medicine has packaged these educational pearls into a free app — called, “UMEM Pearls”.
Some of the pearls are resident and attending level, but students on their clinical rotation can still get utility from this app to help engage in high level discussion on how patients are managed in the Emergency Room.
